Rip's 2nd Visit

When I was first contacted, Rip's owner advised that he struggled with grooming and requested to stay to help with him. We used every method we could to finish a not so perfect haircut. It's was a learning experience for him & an opportunity for me to get know this little guy....likes....dislikes etc. This is Rip's 2nd visit for a haircut. He is learning that coming for grooming is fun. He was allowed breaks to run and play, during his haircut, as part of the learning process. He did much better this time. With the help of his owners, we're making great progress. Today, while on one of these breaks, he & his daughter started to kick a ball around the yard. As they played, I called Rip over and he hopped back on the grooming table. They hit the building multiple times too. To my surprise, he remained calmer and more cooperative. He even seemed to enjoy it at times and even gave me kisses!
